Camping Kovačine, operated by the Cres-based company Cresanka d.d., has been awarded the prestigious ADAC Superplatz 2026 distinction at the PiNCAMP GALA 2026, traditionally held ahead of the international CMT trade fair in Stuttgart. With this recognition, Camping Kovačine once again confirms its position among the leading names in the European camping industry – at the very top of Europe’s best campsites.

At the PiNCAMP GALA 2026 gala event, Camping Kovačine was awarded the prestigious “ADAC Superplatz 2026” distinction.

ADAC Superplatz is the highest quality award in camping tourism, granted once a year by ADAC in cooperation with PiNCAMP, Europe’s leading camping portal, to campsites that achieve the maximum rating of 5 out of 5. The award applies to the upcoming tourist season and represents a strong confirmation of outstanding service quality, facilities, and the overall guest experience.

The evaluation process is based on thorough and independent inspections conducted by ADAC experts, who regularly visit campsites across Europe. Campsites bearing the ADAC Superplatz label must meet exceptionally high standards, combining objective quality criteria with the subjective expectations and experiences of guests.

The assessment includes the number and quality of sanitary facilities, site maintenance and cleanliness, shopping and dining options, as well as leisure, recreational and swimming facilities. Evaluation guidelines are regularly updated to reflect current trends and developments in camping tourism, and only campsites that consistently meet the highest standards may proudly carry the ADAC Superplatz title.
